Essendon Quilters Inc. is a group of friendly people who enjoy the art of quilting. We meet twice a month at the Masonic Hall, Mt Alexander Road, Moonee Ponds, Melbourne. Entry cost to each meeting is $3.00. Visitors and new members are always welcome! Annual membership is $30 which helps maintain our extensive library and produce our monthly newsletter.
The day meeting is held on the third Wednesday of every month - 10am to 3pm. (excluding January)
The night meeting is held on the Fourth Wednesday of every month - 7.30pm to 10pm.
The day meeting includes monthly meeting, tabling minutes, correspondence, treasurer's report, plus all the snippets of information to share with the members. You need to bring you own lunch and a cup. Tea and coffee are provided. The night meeting has a general run though of the day meeting's business, but is more of a social occasion.
Essendon Quilters regularly have guest speakers and hold workshops.
Of course to operate we couldn't do without committee members. An AGM is held during the October day meeting to elect office bearers for the following year.
